Newly released figures from Nordic analysis firm Mediavision reveals that football is the most popular sports to watch online and on TV among the 15-74-year-olds in Denmark. Football leagues take the top three positions when comparing leagues and tournaments: Danish Superligaen, British Premier League and the European tournament Champions League – all attracting almost equal levels of interest. However, the 3F Superligaen stands out compared to the other two when the respondents are asked to pick their favorite league. Approx. 270 000 15-74 year olds state that the 3F Superligaen is their preferred league. The corresponding figures for Premier League and Champions League are lower. Nent holds the media rights to all three top football leagues in Denmark, sublicensing some Premier League matches to Xee and some Superligaen matches to Discovery.
