Prime Video launches on Allente and Norlys in Denmark

 

A few weeks ago, YouSee added Prime Video to its offering, becoming the first operator to offer the streaming service in Denmark. Now, it has been announced that two additional operators — Allente and Norlys — will also offer Prime Video in Denmark.

 

Allente recently launched Prime Video in neighboring countries Norway and Sweden, where the rollout has been a success, according to the company.”Prime Video is full of strong titles, exclusive sports and award-winning entertainment – and we know it hits the spot with our customers. When we launched Prime Video in Sweden and Norway, we saw record-high interest, and we are excited to now offer the same in Denmark,” says Michael Bärlin , Content Manager at Allente.

 

For Allente satellite TV customers, Prime Video is now included in the Standard and Premium packages. Customers with the Basic package can add Prime Video for DKK 49 per month. For streaming customers with Stream Flex 2 or Stream Flex 4 packages, Prime Video will also be available as an add-on service.

 

 

Norlys also expresses excitement about adding Prime Video to its offering.

 

“Prime Video is a strong addition to our current TV content and offers our customers a wide range of entertainment, from exclusive Premier League football matches to acclaimed series and films created for the whole family,” says Martin Berg, Content Manager at Norlys.

 

For now, Prime Video is included in Norlys’ Large TV package at no additional cost. Customers with the Medium or Small TV packages can add the streaming service for DKK 59 per month — the same price as for direct-to-consumer subscriptions. Prime Video is also available as a selectable option in Norlys’ flexible TV packages: Choose 4, Choose 8, and Choose 20.

Helsinki launches new hub for innovation in film, gaming, and storytelling

 

A new global hub for innovation in film, gaming, and transmedia storytelling has arrived in Finland. Helsinki Film Lab (HFL) launched this week with a mission to empower creative professionals, bridge creative industries, and shape the future of storytelling through education and strategic industry events.

 

The new hub establishes itself as an international platform, offering courses, masterclasses, and networking opportunities that cater to film, TV, gaming and literary industry professionals looking to explore IP adaptation and cross-industry collaboration. Courses are held online and onsite in Helsinki and different international locations.

 

 

“Helsinki Film Lab was founded to push the boundaries of storytelling and help creative professionals to navigate in the evolving landscape of IP adaptation,” said Alisha Hasan, Founder & Chief Innovation Officer of Helsinki Film Lab. “By fostering knowledge exchange and innovation between different creative industries, we aim to increase competitiveness, financial sustainability and unlock new opportunities for growth.”

 

A core value of HFL is inclusiveness. While courses are curated for specific industry segments, the initiative remains open to all professionals working in the creative fields.

 

“Accessibility and diversity were key elements during the planning of HFL. Even though each course is curated and geared towards a specific target audience, anyone working in the creative industries may apply. We believe this is what enhances the cross-industry experience and takes us all further,” Hasan said.

 

Helsinki Film Lab is cooperating with leading partners, including City of Helsinki, AVATE Audiovisual Authors and Performers Finland, and Writers Guild Finland, among others. Together, they aim to drive forward-thinking initiatives that respond to the challenges and opportunities of the future.
